During the course there was a number of technical issues with the equipment. Although the tutor did all he can to resolve the issues they kept re-occurring on the equipment. This became particularly frustrating during assessments when a lot of time was spent waiting for equipment to come back online. Apart from this, when the equipment worked, it did support learning well. The instructor was very knowledgeable and I feel like I have learned a lot during the course.

First week could have been better, there were too many students, and trying to teach Siemens and AB at the same time meant most instructions were not relevant to half the class all the time. Perhaps a day focused on AB and a day focused on Siemens, with all class on matching architecture for that period would work better. Then the next 3 days students choose which system to continue with.

PLC Course could of been better, i came with no knowledge to write a program so i'm happy with that progression. however first week there was 11 people which was too many candidates. 6 were on simens and 5 on allen bradley, so the first week was very confusing because the instructor had to explain functions for both per 1 instruction. so essentially half of your learning day is irrelevant. if it was planned out better and the equipment was up to date, i could of progressed further.

Overall course and teacher was very good. Just wish there was a location closer to home. Course was slightly too long because everyone finished the project work early. Luckily our teacher decided to teach some things not on the curriculum. Very satisfied

I am very impressed with the standard of instruction and the content of the pl10 course. I was coached through all the stages of the course with attentive guidance and felt a real sense of achievement at the end. The PL10 course has given me the right foundation knowledge to pursue a career in the control engineering sector. thankyou for a very professional standard of course. I will be recommending technique and will use for other courses in the future.

Overall I found the course very challenging. The ladder logic was difficult for the first week, but I started to grasp it later in the second week. The instructor was very knowledgeable, so far as finding it difficult that has to be down to my aptitude level. The facilities are very good with lunch thrown in as an added bonus. Thank you.
