Would have benefitted for more time but it was obviously going to be a tricky subject to cover in half a day!

Very happy with the course overall. With little previous knowledge regarding suicide issues, I now feel much better informed and the confidence to address issues if they arise. The course was particularly useful for me as a committee member of the local branch of the The Royal British Legion and mental health matters with veterans and the affects of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. In addition, the significant increase in mental health issues which are likely to occur from coming out of lockdown post Covid 19 pandemic.

It was really informative and gave me the tools I need to be able to help me have caring conversations. The trainer, Zac was knowledgable and passionate on the subject and any questions I had were covered more than sufficiently! Really sensitive subject but got alot from this training! Thanks

The course is well structured but at a level that makes it available to all. Giving the three steps gives me a process to follow and understanding how to phrase some things rather than feel as you've said the wrong thing will be helpful. Being open to knowing more signs of contemplation (probably couldn't have thought of some of them so could miss something) and the film was extremely thought provoking. As a suicide survivor I wish I knew then even a little bit of what I know now.
