Bradley was an effective speaker - his delivery style was warm and subject content was interesting. I felt the material was really good and the practical application was useful.

Really enjoyed to course. It was well pitched and the presenters were very engaging.

It was genuinely one of the best presented INSEDs from an outside provider I have had since I joined the school in 2010. Three hour-long presentations and I didn't look at my watch once! I liked the interactive nature of it and how it got us to think. The presenters used humour and didn't talk down to us. Bear in mind I have had numerous presentations and INSEDs on retrieval practice, metacognition and cognitive load theory in my life it was good to still enjoy them even though I didn't learn much new (but that isn't your fault).

We have been discussing the content e.g. like cold calling or metacognitive in majority staff training for past few years, and every time it's very surface/basic touch, we need more in depth training and how it would be helpful to apply to different types of students,

Useful to review some quite familiar ideas and have the research behind them explained and good practice reinforced.

Very useful to have the presentation delivered to the whole staff so that colleagues can continue to discuss the issues raised using the same language and reference points.

Pace was good, variety of tasks engaging and thought provoking, held interest throughout the day. Speaker was excellent.

An excellent day's CPD that was very well tailored to the audience. Nice balance of theory and 'practical' with sufficient time for reflection.

Was dreading this training day as it sounded like a teaching teachers to teach type of thing. But actually it was really good and gave me lots of ideas to try out with my classes.
