RRN Level 3: Restrictive Physical Intervention reviews

4.9 (6,287 reviews)
AI summary of reviews

Practical, safety-focused learning is the course’s defining strength: attendees say it links clear theory on positive behaviour support, de-escalation, law, dignity and least-restrictive practice to step-by-step demonstrations, realistic scenarios and repeated practice. They value knowledgeable, patient and approachable trainers who use humour, lived experience and feedback to keep demanding subjects engaging, inclusive and easy to understand. The well-organised sessions build confidence that transfers directly to supporting children, patients and service users at work, although some find the theory lengthy.

I really enjoyed this course because it was not just taking in notes but it was also physical. This allowed everyone to actively engage but it also ensured that everyone learnt something.

Response: Hi Constanza, I'm glad you found the training good and Dea's explanations great. We always say that it is important to continue to practice physical skills with colleagues after the training to ensure you can recall them, so you can ensure this practice continues after the initial training
