RRN Level 3: Restrictive Physical Intervention reviews

4.9 (6,285 reviews)
AI summary of reviews

Practical, safety-focused learning is the course’s defining strength: attendees say it links clear theory on positive behaviour support, de-escalation, law, dignity and least-restrictive practice to step-by-step demonstrations, realistic scenarios and repeated practice. They value knowledgeable, patient and approachable trainers who use humour, lived experience and feedback to keep demanding subjects engaging, inclusive and easy to understand. The well-organised sessions build confidence that transfers directly to supporting children, patients and service users at work, although some find the theory lengthy.

Liam made the enviroment very relaxed and enjoyable and ensured people knew the techniques, he was patient when people were struggling and very aware about people with existing physical/mental conditions, being careful to to aggrivate them

I would say this is one of the best trainings I’ve ever been in since I joined care. Facilitators Charles and Martina were excellent. They showed a rich knowledge of this course and succeeded In transferring this knowledge to all participants in a seamless manner. They were patient to see that everyone was carried along and ensured that all techniques were gotten right. I’ll definitely recommend them and also hope to get re-trained by them next year and onwards.

Really enjoyed the course overall. Trainer was incredibly helpful throughout she was really knowledgeable on everything and had an had an answer to almost everything asked, if she didn’t have an answer then and there she would always go away and find out and inform people the next day.
