Having now completed the course, I feel equipped to engage with restrictive physical interventions (RPI). I also feel more aware of strategies that can trigger a person and raise their baseline. Moving forward, I will be more aware of the impact that the environment, communication and attitudes towards the pupils; hopefully, I will be able to lower a pupils threshold before RPI is required, however if required, I feel more confident in my own ability to engage with RPI to ensure the safety of the pupil, their peers, and other staff members.Response : Hi Michael, thank you for the great comments about your training and we will ensure to let Hannah and Dan know!

Found the afternoon really useful, very helpful to practice physical skills on Liam as far more realistic. Morning information useful but found it better putting into practice. Liam made us feel at ease and relaxed

Interactive and very helpful. Helpful and kind trainer. Sufficient training for my ward. The only thing I would say to improve on is maybe include a way to access recaps of the breakaway and restrictive technique such as diagrams or access to videos etc.
