RRN Level 3: Restrictive Physical Intervention reviews

4.9 (6,216 reviews)
AI summary of reviews

Practical, safety-focused learning is the course’s defining strength: attendees say it links clear theory on positive behaviour support, de-escalation, law, dignity and least-restrictive practice to step-by-step demonstrations, realistic scenarios and repeated practice. They value knowledgeable, patient and approachable trainers who use humour, lived experience and feedback to keep demanding subjects engaging, inclusive and easy to understand. The well-organised sessions build confidence that transfers directly to supporting children, patients and service users at work, although some find the theory lengthy.

Trainer was patient. He knew how to explain to everyone's understanding. He had time to repeat issues for as long as it takes. So that we understood the restraint training.

I want to sincerely thank Liam for the training. His approach was clear, and practical, which made a significant difference to the teams understanding and confidence. I especially appreciated how Liam emphasised both the physical techniques and the importance of de-escalation and communication. His knowledge, patience, and professionalism created a supportive learning environment, and I feel that the team and I are better equipped to handle challenging situations safely and responsibly.

I really enjoyed the course - Liam did a fantastic job of helping us understand the different behaviors and how to deescalate situations. What stood out for me most were the examples used; they were relatable, engaging, and made the content much more meaningful.

Response: Hi Elias. Thanks so much for your feedback. We pride ourselves having experience trainers who can share with you examples to further support learning. We are glad to hear you enjoyed the course and delivery by Liam.

Training was really good and informative. Trainers took time to make sure we understood the information. They also took the time to answer any questions we had. Was good to have a the information again around primary interventions. Also to be reminded to remember there could be past trauma and to always take into consideration factors that could be affecting behaviour.

I really enjoyed the training and everything that we focused on. Primary intervention, Trauma, personal centred care, Laws and guidelines and many more.
