RRN Level 3: Restrictive Physical Intervention reviews

4.9 (6,189 reviews)
AI summary of reviews

Practical, safety-focused learning is the course’s defining strength: attendees say it links clear theory on positive behaviour support, de-escalation, law, dignity and least-restrictive practice to step-by-step demonstrations, realistic scenarios and repeated practice. They value knowledgeable, patient and approachable trainers who use humour, lived experience and feedback to keep demanding subjects engaging, inclusive and easy to understand. The well-organised sessions build confidence that transfers directly to supporting children, patients and service users at work, although some find the theory lengthy.

I really enjoyed the training and everything that we focused on. Primary intervention, Trauma, personal centred care, Laws and guidelines and many more.

The content was delivered in an excellent way. Both trainers were sensitive with the information on the PowerPoint. They were enthusiastic and helped me learn a lot. At the beginning I was very nervous and now I feel very confident.

Brilliant delivery, felt really safe in the hands of the trainers. Thorough, detailed information. Brought a new level of understanding for me to build on previous experiences. Both inspiring practitioners and trainers. Thanks so much Ben and Matt.

Course brilliant. Really gave me a lot of new strategies and forethought to put into my practise to hopefully make great improvements for my children.

The course had enabled me to be ready for my role with Horizon and be a therapeutic practitioner. I found the in depth work on the Arousal Model linked with PACE and GLOW. I feel confident with breakaways and restraint but understand they are the last resort. Ben and Matt were brilliant! Thank you
