The course trainer was fantastic and I couldn't recommend him highly enough
The course was very practical with lots of visual aids and anecdotes to help my learning. The trainer was bubbly and was able to keep my attention throughout, also very knowledgeable. The practical assessments were great and helped with my learning.
Absolutely fantastic. Derek was so informative and enthusiastic. Very, very knowledgible, but delivered in such a interesting manner, it made you eager to learn. During my working life I had to attend first aid courses every year, but hearing about Derek's experiences in many forums just made the course so enjoyable and relevant.
Really enjoyed the course, Derek delivered the content with enthusiasm, knowledge and pitched it just right for his audience. I learnt so much and Derek created an atmosphere where we could asked questions if we didn’t understand or were unsure. Thank you so much , I thought the day was great.
Videos made everything less abstract. Mike has a great way of bringing the content to life by explaining the science behind and going over content repeatedly so that the take home messages were really clear!
Mike was really engaging, he used humour throughout and described things in simple terms without lots of medical jargon. I feel much better prepared to deal with situations going forward. I liked the range of activities - discussion, practical demonstrations and video clips.
Really good trainer. Simplified things, explained everything in an easy to understand manner. Constantly checked out understanding with lots of questions. Had a lot of really useful tips and advice. Engaged us well
Mike was a very good trainer. His explanation of the difference between Cardiac Arrests and Heart Attacks was brilliant and he explained how the heart works in a manner that provided much clarity and helped me understand how the heart works in those situations. His use of aids was great and made the course feel real. Thanks Mike
Really enjoyed the course and the trainer was fun and made the course enjoyable.
There are things that have change over the years of what you should and shouldn’t do in first aid which I wasn’t aware of, so it was very interesting to know. It was good to learn new things and have a better understand of other first aid do’s and don’t’s.
