Very knowledgeable and kept interesting, and gave amazing advice
The course was delivered very well by the trainer, his knowledge was exceptional especially the comparisons to true events he had experienced.

Paul my trainer was excellent. He had a great wealth of knowledge and explained things very well. He listened to my comments and questions. We ran through the day at a good pace. We were moved to a cold room on the top floor of a baptist church, with no milk or biscuits as advised. Was disappointed with the lack of organisation on Surrey First Aids front as there was a mix up by them and I was the only delegate on the course. Hence we did not start the course till 9.50am. This was fine by me but other women might see this as an awkward situation.
The course was very interesting and practical. It makes you feel more confident if an accident happens and how to react to help. The trainer is superb.

The course was very practical with lots of visual aids and anecdotes to help my learning. The trainer was bubbly and was able to keep my attention throughout, also very knowledgeable. The practical assessments were great and helped with my learning.
Absolutely fantastic. Derek was so informative and enthusiastic. Very, very knowledgible, but delivered in such a interesting manner, it made you eager to learn. During my working life I had to attend first aid courses every year, but hearing about Derek's experiences in many forums just made the course so enjoyable and relevant.
Really enjoyed the course, Derek delivered the content with enthusiasm, knowledge and pitched it just right for his audience. I learnt so much and Derek created an atmosphere where we could asked questions if we didn’t understand or were unsure. Thank you so much , I thought the day was great.
