Introduction to Project Management Reviews

Really detail on the fundamental for Project Management.

Overall, I believe the training does a great job in giving the audience visuals and definitions of what project management consists of. As a grad doing project engineer rotations, it was nice to link up specific terms to some of the tasks that are already performed in my routines. Some new definitions were nice because it will help my overall quality for projects in how they are organized and carried out. I would definitely be interested in taking a more in depth course in bettering my skills.

Overall, the course contained a lot of material. We went through the material fairly quickly, so it'll be nice to have the slides sent to us after for reference. During the presentation, she shared her screen but sometimes she would switch over the Teams, and our faces would cover the slides. This made it hard to reference the slides and listen to her at the same time. Also made it difficult to take notes. The trainer was very knowledgeable on project management, provided great examples and activities, and was very engaging.

Hard to follow sometimes as it didn't always relate to my field that I am currently working in.

This was a really good way for non-business majors to get to know more about the inner workings and vocabulary within projects.

Very impressive. In IDA Operations, we do project management on a smaller scale compared to our clients who undertake large projects. The course provided insight of their pain points and their process for implementing project management. I also learned new terminology for Project Management and will refer to the Charter in future conversations with clients. Overall a very productive course with good learnings.

Training exercises throughout were very helpful in applying real life examples to project management. The course maybe could have been stretched out for another half day perhaps. Would be nice to spend longer on other topics, we spent a good long time on Planning which helped in my understanding of Planning a lot. Overall it was fantastic and engaging.

This was a really great course with lots of practical applications which I am already finding useful in my current role. I have now a better understanding of the terminology within project management and feel more confident in approaching my next projects. The fact that it was a face to face, in person training enhanced this experience. Chris was very concise and engaging. I would recommend this course to anyone who manages projects, big or small.

I know it's not an Excel course, but maybe 2 days (or extra half day) of training to show us how to manage all the content in Excel specific to PM, so in my case I would be able how to improve or edit the file based on my department's needs. Overall, I loved the course and would definitely share it with people. Thank you Chris.
