I felt the training was excellent throughout and feel and would certainly recommend to others contemplating a suicide tutor development programme. Thanks

Thank you…. I was dreading four days in front of my laptop, but it’s whizzed by and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed it.

I was apprehensive coming into the course - 4 full days of online learning about Suicide First Aid didn't sound like it would be the most enjoyable training. However, I have left the course feeling motivated and far lighter than I ever expected (although I'm sure I'll sleep well tonight!). The course offers genuinely useful practical tools to support people thinking of suicide in a manageable and accessible way. The scripted nature of the manual is actually very reassuring as it means that I really can't go too far wrong as long as I stick to the material. It has, however, been so helpful to watch my fellow trainees' presentations as it has shown me how you can easily bring your own personality to the training. The course has been a great mix of learning from our tutor and practical exercises/presentations. I feel I have taken so much with me that I can use both in my personal and professional life. Thank you MD and to the wonderful group I've learned with - it's been brilliant :)
