NHS CLN – EFCCL Programme - Day 4 Reviews

i was asked to attend this course as my line manager was hoping i would have a more softer approach afterwards i have done many leadership courses in the past and a lot of the content was more a refresher for me but it definitely had a more rounded softer approach and i have tried to use what i have learned in my everyday approach and the change has been noticeable

I have really enjoyed the 4 day course, I will take away the following with me.. Continue to be a confident leader/manager Learnt to adapt to different situations Identifying other learning styles and provide them with the correct tools Embed psychological safety within teams

Good pace and level of engagment from faciltiator. Exercises and break out rooms useful and less intimidating than talking in main room. It's a shame that more ward based staff such as Ward Managers and Matrons not undertaking the course, so I wonder if there is a shorter verison that could be targetted at them and hopefully they can be released, as they may not be released for 4 days.

This course has been genuinely impactful — both professionally and personally. It offered the right blend of theory, reflection, and practical application, and helped me reconnect with my core leadership values. The space felt safe, open, and well-facilitated, which made it easier to be honest and stretch myself. I’ve come away with greater self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and a renewed sense of purpose. It’s challenged me in all the right ways — and reminded me that leadership is as much about how we show up as it is about what we do.

I really enjoyed today's session, it was good to reflect on what knowledge I have gained from the previous sessions.

Thoroughly enjoyed the day - lots of learning and sharing of information. Liked all the breakout rooms for discussion and feedback.
