CSTF (All in One Day) Mandatory Training Reviews

The training was good - Ben was very informative and knew all the course material very well. He was very engaging. The only negative is that it was very care home focused, which is not the industry I work in. Most of the examples given and learning how to use hoists etc was not relevant to my field.

Really useful and engaging training. Great discussion was welcomed over just reading slides like some training involves so well done the Ben. Only downside was some factors like helping someone to stand and hoist was not necessarily relevant for our professions a private pregnancy clinic.

Excellent

Providing lunch during extended training sessions would be very helpful, especially since trainees travel from various distances. It’s not ideal for them to go out searching for food during the break. Aside from that, the training session with Derby Hously was excellent.

The room was very cold all day and the coffee machine was not always working. I have attended several of these days over the past few years and the trainer was a refreshing change - his teaching style was interactive and encouraged participation.
