SEC + is a monster and it has been very hard to keep track of skills and remember what goes where. I think for VETTEC there should be additional veteran help and a one week intermission to allow time to + study ITIL and A+ for certification before learning net+ and SEC+. I would recommend any VetTec student interested in networking and security plus to investigate ACI Learning. Also, the ACI Learning support staff, including employment assistance, seem to be very supportive and do care about your success.
CUSS is an intense program. I intentionally have postponed getting CERT vouchers. It's great to know I can retake the labs. Would like ability to retake final class exams too.
The instructor was the most helpful part of the course. His knowledge and experiences helped tie everything together.

I enjoyed the course and the new information that I gathered throughout. However, there is a large volume of information to digest in a short span of time, which could be both daunting and overwhelming. I would suggest that, in the future, the course focuses more and mostly on preparing students solely for the certification exam by providing tips and methods to study for that purpose. The instructors could share their experience in taking the exam, and the tricks that they used to achieve a passing score. Honestly, sliding through and regurgitating the enormous material that is already readily available on the website could be anxiety-inducing, especially for people who are planning to take the certification exam. The instructors were competent and knowledgeable. But, when I enrolled in this class, I was expecting to overcome my anxiety to take the exam by learning tricks and better ways to prepare for it. I doubt that this goal was achieved. I learned a lot of new material, but I do not feel ready to take the exam just yet.
Hopefully, I'll be ready for the certification exam.
