The class was so fast that the students were not able to keep up. Additionally, the instructor never had enough time to truly delve into the concepts. Instead they were forced to give a rudimentary explanation, and then move on.
Overall, this course seems like a GI Bill cash grab. It is overpriced for the knowledge and material provided. After being with ACI for 10 weeks I feel as if I would have been better reading the CompTIA's Objectives and watching videos on Youtube on each topic. Then paying for the Certification exam on my own. It would have been cheaper and with would have been more efficient.
The instructor was not very relatable compared to the other instructors, Did not offer many real-world relatable experiences to describe while teaching the class. Interrupted during mid-term and final exams, very distracting, even letting me know I was the last one taking the exam and that more or less everyone was waiting on me.
Overall, the material, labs, and instructor was spot on with the SEC+, course. However, when it comes to getting adequate support from VET TEC leadership/administration, I give them a F-----! I've emailed VET TEC, and sent text messages, and was given the runaround. Straight SHIT-SHOW from VET TEC LEADERSHIP!!!!
Never did labs with us, just told to them on our own. That would be great if i knew how.
Is the school director supposed to monitor the courses at ACI? Why was the end of course assessments not ready to be taken on the day they are supposed to taken? The ball was dropped on this one on several occasions. I think a review needs to be done on who monitors the progress of classes.
The information is interesting. It can be learned, but not at the current rate, it would be very difficult to comprehend in 2 weeks.
The slides material is extremely poor in content and demonstration. The following link has a superb method that excels by far from ITvPro and the slides contents, (https://www.youtube.com/c/PracticalNetworking). It is not about endorsing one particular venue, company or individual.
