Real-world expertise and relatable examples give this course its strongest appeal: attendees say instructors simplify difficult security concepts, answer questions patiently and make sessions engaging with demonstrations, quizzes, games and varied explanations. They value the supportive classroom environment, extensive study resources and guidance towards certification and IT careers, with beginners often gaining confidence. The substantial content is widely considered fast-paced, so additional time for labs and retention would help.

It's a great course if you have some prior knowledge, but the instructor made it much harder. Focus on doing your own study and treat the class as a refresher, not for learning new content. New content is done on your own time.

Overall my experience with my Instructors and first 3 classes ITIL, A+ core and A+ core were very knowledgeable, as Network + and Security + are the most important certificated during this course, you should consider having a different instructor for them.

The instructor was amazing, I'd give him 5/5 stars any day. The information he provided was clear and concise. HOWEVER, the end-of-course test had a lot of material that was not covered by slides or course material. Out of context from course material.. from different types of tests (NOT SEC +). The instructor was very professional and helpful in topics relating to Security +. He did his job amazingly coming from the military in which my first Security + course was terrible. 10000% better this time around. I would recommend Joseph Hornsey to teach any day. There DOES needs to be a review of course material and tests. It's unacceptable to be taught one thing and have a completely different test that is required to pass to get a voucher or a pass of the class. You should be setting students AND the instructor up for success.

the labs were okay, but what's needed more in this course is the ability to work with and to become more familiar with the subject or items at hand through a hands on experience which in this course i did not get a lot of if any at all.

The only thing going for ACI is the hiring of instructors.

James, the instructor demonstrated how much he was dedicated to helping when we needed help outside of class and giving us resources that can help in the future. The labs are too long and very inconsistent. If they are going to be long, they must be consistent. Sometimes the labs would not load, sometimes the display was different from the instructions, reaching out for technical support was not fast enough in response time. There were several times accessing the labs from home was not good, and I had to wait to get to class before I could make any progress. I think this is why students DON'T get through the labs. These things brought about frustration. Another helpful resource could be advice of best practices. The resources provided are amazing, however, the pacing of the courses leaves students reeling and trying to figure out what is the best way to prepare. I think some best practice advice for students could be extremely beneficial. Lastly, I strongly think more innovative teaching strategies could be implemented to ensure learning during class sessions. This statement does not take away the fact that students MUST do the hard work.
