In regards to the training for the Tracheostomy we were happy with the theory based training however when it came to the practical we was unable to complete this due to the company not sending the correct equipment for us to be trained with. What they had sent was the wrong equipment so Danai did the best she could to explain but with the wrong equipment we was unable to fulfill the full training as expected.
The training session was very positive. It covered the necessary information to do with the topic. Unfortunately we got to understand the theoretical aspects, but not the practical one because there were no equipments for a practical session
There was no practical element of the training health and safety group sent the wrong equipment completely separate from the tracheostomy training itself to the trainer it was pointless and meant we did not get hands on experience we are all visual and hands on learners I would not recommend the health and safety group at all they were not considerate about the matter and so many people had travelled from far
