Marie has been very quick to return her helpful feedback, thank you. I like the style of the course very much, it matches my integrative style. There are a few anomalies around instructions about how we should write the final assessment paper, for example, whether the word count of the session segment was to include the analytical remarks or not. You wanted us to be careful of using gender-definite words which I am completely in accord with, but your study materials don't seem to have been updated to reflect this policy. These sorts of examples are the reason I gave 4 not 5 on those areas.

The online offering of the course is a good initiative as it gives persons who work in areas that may involve counselling the opportunity to learn and become "professional" in their interaction when necessary. For me the study at your pace is good especially as I had some personal challenges along the way. The concept and delivery is encouraging as you do not get overwhelmed - it is as though you are in a classroom with a tutor.

I enjoyed the course overall and have benefited from it . As an online course I would have appreciated more you tube demonstrations ,( although I did access many other counselling sessions by others to augment the course ) and books that were easy to access.
The course is perfect for acquiring skills and knowledge in counselling. However, students must be prepared to work hard and read books to complete the course.
I enjoyed the course in the main but feel the materials could be condensed. Assessment criteria could be placed in a separate document to ensure course requirements were easily understood at the onset. I achieved my personal aim by undertaking this CPD course as an addition to my counselling qualifications and have secured employment in the field.
