I didn't have any assumptions coming into the course, but I felt that the leader of the course really helped arm me with some great tools to help me coach and be a better manager for my team. I feel more confident that I can approach issues and queries in a better way, and I am really looking forward to trying some of these skills out in my 1-2-1s with my team members.

Out of the 2 sessions I had, I really enjoyed the second session and the psychological perspective. Definitely gave a lot of food for thought and ideas for how I can better facilitate future meetings.

The workshop was led at such a steady pace that I initially thought "we're not going to cover much in this session", but how wrong I was! Impressed at how many ideas we generated and how much we considered that we had not thought about before - and it nearly all came from our team, rather than being taught to us; Stephen just eased it out of us. Really effective exercises and style of facilitation; I have learned a lot from observing how the session was run as well as the conversations we had within the session. Thank you, Stephen, for a productive morning!

Very useful and well thought of training. The trainer was great and really wanted us to make good use of what we learn in our real life work after the training is completed. Very happy with the training and the learnings.

As with most training it was as much about learning as understanding what you already know. I do feel it has been valuable for me and there are take aways I will action immediately to make me a better coach.
