Darren had a very calm way of explaining things, he wasn't rushing anybody and was always keen to go back to certain points and provide detailed overview. It was evident that he has a clear passion for the subject area and could give a lot of real life examples where we could find certain functions useful

I was worried with this course being online that it would be death by powerpoint but was impressed with the level of interaction and use of breakout rooms.

Overall quite good

The lunch break could be shorter, and some consistency in the breakout groups would help build on conversation rather than starting again, but overall, it was a great first day.

I would have preferred face to face - it’s difficult building a rapport over zoom
