Really lovely trainer and clear activities to complete all the way through. However, I found the session quite slow which resulted in a couple of us forwarding ahead on the fast track activities. Personally, I feel that the Level 1 course may have been a bit easy for me and underestimated my current knowledge. I believe this may be very beneficial for beginners to Excel.

A very enjoyable course. I enjoyed the group participation and group size.
We lost some time (over an hour) on the 2nd day to cover a topic from another course member which did not have much relevance for me. This could have been taken offline to the course
Very insightful course that gets you thinking about your management style and how to be more effective whilst learning.
Found it very useful and it was good to practise the techniques. A good mix of role play, group sharing, scenario based activity and brainstorming
the course is brilliant. really great and practical. Gill is patient, approachable and effective. I think examples relevant to the homelessness sector including client facing or admin roles would be helpful. some examples could be substituted with our Christmas offers and activities/housing situations/ support needs...etc I feel one day is also a lot to take everything in. maybe two half days would be better in terms of new skills sinking in and allowing us to get along with other work tasks without missing parts of the training.
