I did enjoy the course however so far for day one I found it too Behavioral and not pragmatic enough for management and leadership skills. There was not a good balance in knowledge, skills versus behaviour however perhaps that is because I am used to more corporate based learning for management. I did find the modules slightly repetitive that you would find in many Behavioral courses. Nikki was however a fantastic facilitator and brought a brilliant energy to the room.

The trainer told us to get drinks, make ourselves comfortable and ‘do what we need to do’, then asked me not to read my phone. I only read messages from home but felt this easy necessary and contradictory. The examples and activities were too basic and some inappropriate.

Looking forward to part two as it has context in difficult situations and this is what I am here to learn more about

Truly enjoyed the session with skills/techniques that are achievable and applicable to our business. Discussion within the team facilitates ideas and make us aware of how different departments/colleagues think and feel.

Really useful for our teams. Mike broke it down really well into actionable plan and on terms that made sense to the team The words Project Management can often feel heavy or a burden but Mike took team on a journey that was sensible and achievable

Mike was fantastic he really listened and came up with on the spot solutions to challenges we were facing with our project planning. He demonstrated that theoretical knowledge could be applied to problem solve even without an in-depth knowledge of a business. He was great at making it perfectly relevant to our teams’ challenges and business.

I expected the course to be good but it was better!
