I think it gave some good practical suggestions, but felt it could have been shorter. The first 40 minutes were intros and things which didn't really give much to participants. If the facilitator finds them useful, perhaps we could have shared those with them ahead of the session and then just jumped straight into it. People at the Library are often time poor and those 40 minutes back would have been really helpful.
The course was insightful and has left me wanting to explore further into Excel.
I feel confident to use Excel in my work tasks.
I think some of the activities could have allowed more time.
Useful session, lots of practical tools we can all use and it's helpful to have the time to practice using the tools too. I'd thought of personal examples in the critical conversations bit which weren't appropriate to share in the group exercise so maybe a heads-up that we'd be sharing them would be good so I could come up with a different example. Thanks :-)
Luke Ashton-Johnson does an amazing job of including us in the lesson and a very thorough and impressive job explaining the subjects being discussed.
I'd say today was one of the best lessons i've had so far.
some elements i did not understand e.g. liberating structures? some of the exercises based on theory that we didn't know enough about to complete the task.
