An enjoyable, interesting course which has provided me with useful ideas I can incorporate into my job role.
Good session would have preferred a more theoretical approach rather than putting us in continuous breakout rooms and getting the attendees to discuss topics
I really enjoyed the course and can see how useful these tools would be, but the course felt very fast paced which I could follow, however, I feel it would have been more beneficial to understand how we could implement the tools within our sector. This would especially be helpful at the moment when staff working in Health care may be feeling burnt out and we want to re-engage them in their meetings.
I found both these course really useful. I didn't know about the functions that can be used to tidy data quickly (Flash Fill, and the UPPER, LOWER, PROPER and CONCATENATE functions), and I only had a very basic knowledge of how to create Pivot Tables and Charts. Sal did an excellent job of involving us all in the training, and I'm sure that what I've learnt today will help me to use Excel more effectively.
The course was good as it built on my knowledge and improved my knowledge.
This is my first excel course with Gill and I shall definitely be looking to attend more modules. The course was really interesting and well delivered. I no longer see excel as 'just too technical for me,' but an extremely helpful and powerful MS tool, that once learnt can be simplified. I really feel I benefited from this Data Visualisation module and hope to come across Gill again.
Gill is an excellent trainer and answers all questions in a really understandable way. I hope I am able to book more sessions with Gill
