The tutor was great, however the arrangements and management of the course was not favourable. We received the course material a few hours before the end of the course. Logon information was tough to get. notification and information prior was thin on the ground. The course Admin did try to rectify it. 2 weeks after the course, I still have no result.
Chris appears to be knowledgable in his work experience but fails to convey this experience into a learning platform. Often telling stories of his work experience rather than relating it to the exam content. He finished early on 2 days and teaching felt rushed. Students were not given a platform to voice their opinions and questions and often cut off.
Throughout the session, the tutor experienced multiple issues with their internet connection, which caused disruptions and interruptions. Additionally, the course felt very rushed and lacked in-depth explanations of the key topics. As a result, it was difficult to fully understand and engage with the material.
A course that is far to long and could be completed in 2 hours rather than a full day for people who have knowledge of risk assessments.
Although the tutor was approachable, the first day was a wash out. He had got back late from holiday and was clearly tired. I found after that he was good in the mornings and tired in the afternoons. Too much time and finite detail was spent on the topics he was clearly very knowledgeable on, and the content that he wasn't seemed to be read at us. As a result the week was finished without completing all elements. Also, there was not enough interaction compared to previous weeks. All in all I'm really disappointed and will have to redo the whole week myself.
I think the course could have been more engaging, I found it frustrating at times and didn’t enjoy the 3 days to be fair.
Tutor was great. His knowledge and understanding of the subject was great. Course was far too long. The logging in was over complicated and ironically caused a lot of stress.
