The Emotional Intelligence course was insightful, engaging, and relevant. I particularly appreciated the opportunity to reflect on self-awareness, how emotions influence our responses, and the importance of understanding the perspectives and emotions of others. The course provided practical reminders about being more intentional in how we communicate, respond to challenging situations, and manage our emotions in the workplace. I also found the discussions around empathy, emotional regulation, and interpersonal relationships especially useful, as these are skills that can be applied both professionally and personally. Overall, the course reinforced the importance of emotional intelligence in building stronger working relationships, improving communication, and navigating difficult or sensitive situations more effectively. I would recommend continuing to incorporate practical scenarios and interactive exercises, as these help to connect the concepts to real-life workplace experiences.
Admin Assistants need to be certified minute-takers. Today was an excellent introduction.
The course was very informative and the instructor was very knowledgeable about the topics being presented. I liked the overall small class size and would hope that future workshops are designed as such. Overall, I enjoyed myself, learned a lot and look forward to future HR courses.
