AMT Training Reviews

Zuzanna and Matt are the best. Zuzanna singlehandedly carried me through the first three statement modeling from knowing absolutely nothing. Matt's teaching was incredibly engaging throughout and I feel now prepared for my job and weirdly excited about financial modeling. Please bring them back more (for social and learning reasons).

Great engagement - good speed - managed to keep the class interesting across knowledge levels Nice human touch, adjusting the workload and deadlines according to other events planned

Matt and Zuzanna were fantastic instructors. They were fast and thorough but also paced the instruction according to the pace of the trainees. They stopped for questions and helped me better prepare for my position. Thank you.

Thank you Matthew and Suzanne for your dilligent help and extra efforts to explain topics. I would personally keep the valuation part more brief, as a lot of it was covered in the same manner in pre-training but otherwise a great learning experience overall.

We covered a lot of material in the two weeks, but I never felt like it was too fast. As a non-finance background person, I feel tremendously more prepared to go into my role than I was on day one. The pre-class work did really well to prepare for this course.

Detailed, informative training, strong point for me were the 2 first days on Financial Statements At times I would have liked if we were given bigger chunks of tasks do to at once, rather than observing the trainer doing one cell, then redoing it ourselves and repeating that process, as this I think can become a bit repetitive/you don't always understand the intuition behind what you are doing/just mechanically doing the same.

Generally, I think it would make more sense to split the class in two group with two levels as some people have a finance background and previous experience whereas others come from completely different backgrounds. To make it more challenging for the first half, it would be nice to spend more time on more advanced topics, more complex LBO models and go more into depth on things like lease liabilities etc. Further, I am not sure how much sense it makes to discuss a lot of slides during the classes as everyone is expected to do the pre training as preparation for the course. I think it should be everyone's own responsibility to prepare the relevant theory for the class and spend the respective training hours more on discussions and excel training.
