Thank you for conducting such a great course. I am not normally this confident this quickly with people that I don't know but the tutors approach to managing expectations and relaxed way she gauged her audience worked soooo well. It was good to hear other people's perspectives in the discussion groups. This lead to a few light-bulb moments for me. A big THANK YOU

This course was really beneficial, not only to offer us the skills and confidence to be able to support both students and fellow colleagues, but also to gain a better understanding of the experiences faced by other services within the university, this leads to a better understanding of the students as a whole and hopefully a more holistic way of supporting them.

A thought-provoking topic covered in a pragmatic yet sensitive manner. Instructors were keen to provide an environment that allowed you to raise any topic or feel free to take a break if required. Both modules were well paced.

Helen's delivery was absolutely fantastic. I have taken this training back in 2019 and I much preferred this delivery. She was clear, engaging and kept the flow of the course at the right level for the group. I was pleased that all the content was delivered in a way that was applicable both personal life and work. As a MHFA at work, I would have significantly benefited from topics on gambling addiction and eating disorders to be included in the content of the course delivery. These are absolutely topics that I have had to deal with as a Mental Health First Aider and have only had the information in the handbook to guide me. I would also have appreciated the course to be longer (or the option of longer time to deliver to be offered) as some additional time for extended internal discussions would have been beneficial.

I have wanted to do this course for years and it did not disappoint! Thank you, I have learnt lots.
