Stephen and Ann were enthusiastic teachers. I enjoyed watching the video clips and talking through the case scenarios. I think role playing the scenarios in pairs perhaps would give better practise in talking through and using methods to help someone in mental distress.

The course is laid out very well, the discussions were really useful and clear. Personally I found talking and reviewing the video about Peter being useful as people in our group picked up on and alerted me to things I wouldn't have noticed straight away, maybe similar ones could be found for the other modules we covered too?

Great course, the instructor was well read, enthusiastic and genuinely seemed like a lovely man.

Very informative, gave me a much better and broader insight into Mental Health which I appreciate.

Dave was a great trainer, the content was quite deep at times however Dave checked in with us throughout the day and was very re-assuring! I left the course feeling very confident and understand my role a a MHFA. I would highly recommend this course to others, Dave is a credit to St Johns :)
