During her presentations, Sabrina Brando does not just give us the definition of the word “compassion”. She shows us through concrete examples and fascinating researches how to improve our well-being, that of our learners, our colleagues, our interlocutors. A seminar of public utility for any professional working with animals, human or non-human.

I was fascinated with Sabrinas experience, methods and way of thinking. She really wants the best for the animals and it's easy to understand the speaker, how to approach a better world together. One of her best qualities as a speaker/teacher, is the way she helps you understand. It's in such a humane way, she really cares about everyone and you can feel it. The atmosphere is relaxed and uplifiting. You'll find both small and bigger changes in thinking and problem solving, that helps you either as a pro and/or as a pet owner. Well, in general. I just loved Sabrina's lectures! She made a huge impact on my thinking, how I approach human clients of mine (dog training), now I do with more patience and sympathy. But also the training part was a great one!

Hands down, this conference was the best I have attended in my 25+ years of working with animals. I have followed Sabrina Brando for almost as long, and she delivered as always. The dept of her knowledge is amazing. Her compassion for animals and people who work with them is inspiring and thought-provoking. Few people can teach animal welfare like Sabrina Brando.

I'm so pleased about the fact that Sabrina shared all her experiences and I really appreciated the description of the wallpaper about the atlas of human experience. What I like the most is the fact that she talked about coherence in zoos by promoting acts according to conservation's efforts. For example by promoting food or souvenir made in an ethical way. I think that's a really good point and zoos should think about it.

The PAWS platform takes you on an amazing journey through animal welfare. It gives a broad picture of the current animal welfare science situations.

Sabrina and the PAWS team have done a wonderful job organizing informative, cutting edge content about animal behavior and welfare and making it accessible to a broad audience. The diversity of resources is a huge plus of the platform and I expect makes the content useful to many different types of scholars and practitioners.
