all in all i thought the course was exactly what it should have been, it served as a great introduction to PLCs.

Elliot was very good at relating his knowledge of both Siemens & Allen Bradley PLCs to the class so I felt like I gained alot of knowledge on both systems even though I was only using the S7 device.

I enjoyed this course but I think personally i might have needed more training to fully understand the subject.

Very good course, I was happy with the basics early on and would of liked to explore more complex areas of the program if time allowed. Elliot was very helpful throughout.

Course provided a good overview of programming PLCs including the basic principles of logic and programming. There were aspects which were mentioned and not covered, i.e. use of the pneumatic rig to demonstrate PLC control. Elliot is very knowledgeable and very familiar with interfacing with PLCs and the software, which is the area I was most interested in. I did have a question relating to a PLC I am familiar with regarding BTW, BTR commands in Allen Bradley which he was unfamiliar with. Some aspects of the course were, in my eyes, taught in quite confusing way, for example number base systems. The lunch was okay for myself but nothing special. One of my colleagues however had his dietary requirements disregarded on two separate occasions.

Steve is an excellent tutor and is very knowledgeable in his field, he was very supportive and had time to answer any questions or explain anything you was not sure about. I would highly recommend him and the course at Clay Cross or any Technique. I will definitely be looking at further courses in the near future.

This was a very enjoyable course that gets you thinking and learning at the same time, and was really interesting. The tutor is very knowledgeable in the subject and was always on hand to answer questions and give support. I would recommend this course to anyone and I would like to expand my knowledge in this area so would definitely be looking at further courses to practice my skills.

Had a couple of courses with Technique, down to earth friendly staff and instructors that always no their subjects well. Will recommend to my company as a whole.
