Excellent course throughout. A fantastic teacher, who taught the subject well with his extensive knowledge of PLC's. Food was good, as well as the free tea & coffees. 10/10

Very happy with the course, the delivery and resources provided. Excellent location, all staff friendly and helpful, Starting information And welcome pack was perfect, allowing me to prepare everything I could need in advance, and even then spare resources were available for those who may have bot prepared as well. Overall a productive and efficient experience.

The course is very good, due to my dyslexia it took some time to process the information. However the course was really good.

It was a 1 day 18th edition update course, so alot to get in a short amount of time, but the tutor was super and got me through.

Tutor had brilliant academic and practical knowledge on the course subject and did everything possible to prepare us for the exam. Free coffee/tea and lunch was a huge bonus too.

As a complete novice the course the course is too advanced and too fast paced - probably due to time limitations. Course was advertised as being suitable for non electrical people wanting to retrain. In fact it is too advanced and the pace to quick for non electrical to understand what they are trying to achieve. With little time available to describe in layman’s terms what is being done or trying to be achieved. Novices like myself would benefit from Sections such as - This is a circuit and this is what happens. Dawn is extremely knowledgeable but I feel simply doesn’t have the time available to go right back to basics and support novices such as myself

The course should be extended or Pre-read material provided as the technical knowledge required develops as you read the required material. I passed the course by obtaining previous exam papers and repeated reading of the IET 4th edition COP prior to the course. To expect a non-electrically trained person to achieve the required level of understanding in one day is in my view setting people up to fail. More practice needed with retesting machines, this course is practical but in reality is theoretical in the main.

Not being a Sparky and having no knowledge of electrics. A suggestion would be that we are provided with the blue folder to study prior attending course this giving a head start of what’s expected.
