The Faraday Centre Reviews

The course was more focused on HV transmission system than ROV systems the course is adverted at. There was alot of information that although interesting was not relivent to a ROV style system as there is not HV switching in these systems. Steve was knowledgeable on the transmission side of things, and this knowledge has help us identify areas we can improve in.

I was given a printout of course material but it was very hard to follow and seemed to be inconsistent with what was on screen. some slides shown on screen were not in the printout and it seemed to jump back and forth through slides

Authorising Engineer is not the most riveting of topics but the course was made enjoyable and interesting by the personable approach of Steve Procopis. The venue, as always, is fit for purpose and well run. There were a few discrepancies in the course content provided and the content presented e.g. some parts missing. This meant that some of the answers in the written exam could not be found. I was given a digital copy of the correct information to take away instead of the hard copy (I have not verified the accuracy of the digital copy). This did not detract from the course experience. I have not rated Lee Hubbard (above) as Lee did not take part in delivering the course.

Very interesting and a good knowledge about HV but not that revealed for a fridge engineer but it’s for us to work around HV equipment.
