I had expected most of the participants would be carers and that there might be a lot of things that were not relevant to my role, but that was not the case and it was interesting to be in a group where people were mostly involved in other roles within the care home and we all handled different things.

I did personally struggle in the break out room tasks due to some individuals in the course but I feel as though the trainer did a good job at ensuring everyone got a say and was able to give an answer.

The training was facilitated well, and it was a good refresher for moving and handling.

It’s been different but I’ve enjoyed it as I think I’ll remember more in the future after having researched the questions and then discussed. I also enjoyed the relaxed pace

I enjoyed the course being made relaxed but still able to learn and refresh all the skills needed.
