Overall good - very practical trainers

The course was as good as it could be to be for me as i am more of a face to face learner

I felt there should be two courses, one for refresher vaccines and the other newly training. I felt there was too much emphasis on BLS, I understand the importance but not what I expected from the course. I have already completed my course this year in first aid and in depth BLS. The trainer was very knowledgeable but time keeping was poor as we overran by almost an hour. I would have liked more time to practice giving vaccines.

I had expected most of the participants would be carers and that there might be a lot of things that were not relevant to my role, but that was not the case and it was interesting to be in a group where people were mostly involved in other roles within the care home and we all handled different things.

I did personally struggle in the break out room tasks due to some individuals in the course but I feel as though the trainer did a good job at ensuring everyone got a say and was able to give an answer.

The training was facilitated well, and it was a good refresher for moving and handling.

Excellent training

It’s been different but I’ve enjoyed it as I think I’ll remember more in the future after having researched the questions and then discussed. I also enjoyed the relaxed pace
