Complex because no face to face but great teacher

My fair assessment on the training is that was worth going through because it was rich in whole cycle of credit management, starting from the onset of analyzing loan application to the point of managing the facility after it is given out. The most exiting part for me was that the training was able to capture practical case study examples and it was quite intriguing seeing diverse skills from participants being shared. At the end of the training I feel level of my understanding in credit issues has been up scaled. I am able to identify characteristics of different types of credit facilities that an SME would approach the bank to access and how to assess them.It has also shade more light on tools that would be used in assessing credit facilities cash flows, Audited Accounts or in absence management accounts.

This training has been very enriching and for a virtual training it was lively and not boring at all. The materials shared, the exercises and discussions where all very helpful. The trainer made sure it should be an interactive training and each of us was given a chance to participate. The trainer was clear and offered a good lecture with live examples which related very well to what we were discussing.

The overall course was informative and enlightening

Stephen is clearly a very experienced professional, and we are luckly that he is so passionate about sharing his experiences. That being said, I think that Trade Finanace is clearly a very broad subject and at times very detailed. In my opinion, this course does go into too much detail at times, but that might be subjective for my role within the trade world.

When the subject itself was so full, I thought it would be difficult to handle it for 3 days. (I was being abit biased as well) But after 3 days, I was ready to have more and talk more. Through out my education I have learnt that this is all because of the teacher. I believe Ms Emma Jenkins could be the best thing that happened to forwards, options, carries, tapos, greeks and everything else that about this course. As someone who has not studied finance, I have gained enough knowledge and behavior to be familiar with what I have heard in my work place and even drop a few comments.

As an introductory course, the course is well designed and provide a clear concepts, such as what LME does, what hedging is, what Futures are and how Futures work etc. I work in the Credit side, and the course helps me to understand what the Front Office is going to do with our counterparties. Also, Emma is a great trainer. She spoke very clearly with appropriate pace and was very patient with questions.

The course was really worth my while and would definitely recommend not just to Compliance Counterparts but to the Business, Legal and Risk

Very interactive sessions, trainer knows his subject very well. The course covered different aspects of compliance and governance. The training materials were well documented.
