It was hard and confusing but I got the idea after time.

It was kind but it got a tiny bit boring.

Thank you for giving structure to some of the things we loosely do already. We can continue to improve at how we communicate and support our son who is just entering into adolescence and having a hard time with peer relationships.

I really enjoyed this session as it helped me to be reminded of how to manage stress and I feel like I really needed that reminder for all the ongoing things right now. (COVID-19, exams, high screen times, etc) I liked that our trainer motivated me a lot and she reminded me of useful tips on how to approach a huge task. She had lots of knowledge about her passion and I felt that this was a topic she personally loves.

I enjoyed the course and the coping strategies that were mentioned seemed reasonable and achievable. I'm definitely going to try them. However, as it is a well being course, l feel that it should be run in the day time when one is more alert and receptive. Taking an evening to sit this is taking away from 'our' wellbeing factor! Many other businesses have training/courses within the working day. For example.... many banks open later one morning per week for staff training and updates are carried out in this time to ensure the service which is offered is delivered to a high standard, even more so in childcare. To sit a course in the evening and take in informatoon effectively, efficiently and stay focused is difficult after working an entire day or even not working that day and having responsibilities at home, is very tiring! Training isn't every week so it would have been good to have it for example- 9am one morning and parents advised in advance that morning the nursery will open at 10am due to staff training/ course. l believe this would be exceptable to the majority of parents. Working in childcare is although, rewarding in many ways to see the children you care for flourish in all areas of development- it is also very challenging. Most parents of the children.... comment from time to time... l couldn't do your job! Overall, our trainer was jovial and kept me awake. She delivered the course well and in a friendly and warm manner.Response : Many thanks for your feedback. We are glad you enjoyed the course and found the coping strategies achievable. With regards to the training time, this would have been something that your nursery manager would have requested as we are available to do workshops during the day, evening and weekend. Many thanks again for your detailed feedback.

Really informative session, with great tips, and tricks to help build resilience both for my children and myself. Simple slides to enhance what was being said. Going to put my new-found knowledge into practice straight away.

a very informative session, much appreciated i personally felt like i needed some practical examples of situations to apply the points that are mentioned on, like some struggles our children go through and how to cope with them, i know each child is different but the content brought many scenarios to my mind and i started wondering how to deal with them. Thank you Ms. Iman and ACS :)
