The way in which the presentation was layed out made it easy to understand and follow along the process and the way in which strategies should be applied.

The session was useful overall. I personally don't feel too anxious about deadlines or grades which may or not be a good thing but as a result I feel there is much less stress on myself. On the other hand, I do procrastinate to a heavy extent which was nicely touched upon in the presentation and I can take on board the advice the presenter gave me. The breathing technique was a nice trick and I will definitley use it in the future. The presenter was very considerate and well explained which meant at no point in the presentation did I feel uncomfortable with the topic being discussed.

Some of the tips I had used before from therapists, as a person who has anxiety, so I did not gain as much from this. However, these tips have been very useful to me in application, and I'm sure they will help many more people in the future.

It was great but felt very emotional at the start.

A really great introduction to wellness, and an opportunity to share with colleagues how we’re all feeling, and that we’re not alone. Kiren was fantastic at reading the audience and facilitating a healthy discussion.

Trying to balance your anxiety with your dependants as well as the students can be a real fine balancing act and can be overwhelming at times. The main problem I find with anxiety is that it is at times an uncontrollable situation not in your hands, e.g. risk of travelling on public transport, social distancing etc. You can apply your own measures but we are having to rely on others to do the same to maintain the status quo and not everybody is of the same attitude and application, a situation not under your control. All the time this continues, without strong and proven guidelines will excabate the anxiety. It is how we personally react to it that will help to control that anxiety.

This was a great first session. It would be nice to have smaller groups so there could be some discussion of personal issues although this could be difficult to moderate when the trainer doesn't know what issues people will bring to the session. Maybe organising follow-up small groups would be a good idea? I thought Kiran was very professional and pitched the content and delivery very well. Thank you.
