Thank you for the training. I think it will be really beneficial in my new job role moving forward.
Very good course. Although I have a fair bit of experience in/with Mental Health the course has given me some useful knowledge to use with my experiences.
Really important training session for us a school nurses dealing with suicidal young people on a frequent basis. Reassuring to know we are doing things well but definitely points to take away that will improve our responses.
The training has been informative and helpful. I do finish some training and wonder whether I've really taken anything from it, but that won't be one of those courses. It has definitely been useful.
Very appreciative, thank you for the training and very useful. Particularly useful to have the support lines to signpost to.
I learnt a lot from the training session. The pace was a little slow as there was a lot of listening, but I think that this was due to it being on Zoom so it couldn't be as interactive. I found looking at the Powerpoints quite intense, but it was helpful to have the resource printed beforehand to give my eyes a break from the screen - so thank you for sending it through!
Overall, a difficult topic trained well. There were a few technical difficulties for some learners in accessing the digital workbook. I could access it and print it off, but I couldn't save it or type into it, which would have been useful. I did feel that the course should conclude with a specific section on self care for the person who has done the suicide intervention - as, having previously done it, I know it can have a lasting impact and trauma. Although it was discussed when I raised it, I felt it would not have been addressed if I had raised it.
More breaks are necessary. Its a lot of information to take in and discuss, learning through Zoom is particularly tiring.
