Paola is an excellent teacher - she brings incite into the language tempered with humour. The class dynamic is good and as I joined midway through was made to feel welcome by all. The admin team are very efficient and helpful. I have made good progress and feel it is stimulating my advancing years!!! The current online scenario works but misses the classroom dynamic a little - needs must
Paola is a fantastic teacher and we are only a small group of 3 all at different levels which makes it more challanging for the teacher. Paola always manages to get everyone involved and progress and is frquently going over already learned which helps to remeber. We have progressed very nicely with grammar and speaking and it is a lovely event on a Wednesday night.
Although 1:1 is good in many ways I enjoyed the classes when there was 1 or 2 other members . I prefer face to face tuition than online where possible. The course books we are using are very good.
I am very happy with the way Andreia is working with me. It is turning out to be a mix of private sessions to accelerate my learning and now group sessions because I am virtually caught up. Because I am travelling quite a bit we will maintain momentum with online sessions. It is such a relief to have the flexibility from Andreia and the school such that I can continue to focus my efforts. Needless to say it is not easy but I am determined to press on until I can have some kind of basic skill. Andreia as a person is delightful, very easy to talk to and relax with. She is excellent at tuning into what is needed by me to progress and also, most importantly, pacing me, so that I am not overwhelmed. My thanks to one and all.
Andreia is an excellent teacher with a friendly and informal approach that helps to make the student relax and enjoy the learning process. She also provides clear and informative explanations of the complexities of the portuguese language. We normally meet face-to-face but our occasional classes online have also worked well.
We have nothing but positive words for Zsofia and the way she teaches our children. The material is very varied and she manages to keep them engaged throughout the session. The children see it as fun…while learning a great deal. Merci Zsofia.
Paola is a kind & engaging teacher, who makes the sessions fun. I would like a little less concentration on the text books and a bit more free conversation - even if that’s on a prepared topic. Overall the lessons are really good & a lot less nerve wracking than some I’ve done previously. I can’t really comment on online classes as I’ve never done them .
I am very happy with the course so far and enjoy the lessons. Paola is a very patient, personable teacher who explains the content clearly and challenges us to progress.
We are very pleased with Rocio and the language centre. The lessons are very appropriated for their level and focussing in the main areas to improve. They are learning to read and write very fast, and the most important, they are enjoying the lessons. Highly recommended, especially for young kids.
