I learnt a lot from the course as it really showed me the differences in my accuracy when I am on a time limit! The course trainer was very engaging and made everyone feel welcome and included. Very encouraging and ensured everyone felt at ease no matter the outcome of each test. Very clear and concise at all times and repeated all instructions which was really helpful.

Interesting course, quite heavy in terms of exercises throughout but I understand that practice allows people to get more familiar with the ideas and theory behind it all

Excellent course, loved the hands on approach of many exercises. I can see my accuracy and planning towards it have improved already.

Some useful techniques, however 90% of the time I use software or fuzzy logic formulae to check for discrepancies. Would suit anyone that has to manually transfer data.

I found the course really useful and it was really good to see that as a left handed person we had been thought of in the work books and where to write the answers, this made things much easier.

I will definitely benefit from the course in my day-to-day work/life, although the course itself is currently less relevant to my role than it might be for other analysts who attended the session. The course interaction was really good; however I would suggest to shorten it by combining some of the exercises, that are currently split into, into one test. I would suggest to use a laptop for the tests because the day-to-day role is computer-based and therefore more applicable, more realistic - it could be used to check the accuracy of the information as well as typing the information - setting a time to complete the task (in the same way as it was done for some of the exercises on paper) would allow to check accuracy while working under pressure. Checking formulae could be added to the areas currently tested. Tests could be extended to text - so while we had one example, it could be beneficial to add a test on checking ;paragraphs rather than individual strings of letters and numbers. I think that the course will be very beneficial for analysts at all levels of the business.

I enjoyed the activities - it was a bit like being in school again! However I did find the tasks in the first session, (numerical) a bit unnecessarily repetitive. The second session was much better paced and more varied. I would have liked to know a little bit more about the science being done if the claims. Statistics on accuracy per peer groups for instance as one colleague asked if the tutor knew anything about how focus/accuracy changes with age but she didn't know. Not essential, but could add more to takeaway and share with others.
