Course was great, learnt a lot which will support with duties in work. The lecturer was helpful with any questions that the classroom had. The locations on the hotel was suspect, however hotel was good
Fulfilled my requirements and expectations. Gave me a better understanding of requirements and safety around switching. Very useful going forward in my role
Very good course, well delivered. Balance between course content and practical exercises was really good to help everything sink in.
Course venue was good. Plenty to see, and operate. Not sure if it’s something that could be adopted into the course more, but the discipline steps of preforming isolations in the safest ways. Some confusion over if you withdraw ACB’s a lot before withdrawing HV cbs. Also the hazards maybe of cbs failing to close, or CBs struck when racking in or out.. the reality hazards you may come across as an SAP, and how to safely overcome them for new guys training on this course. All good knowledge is worth sharing to ensure people are safe and knowledgable. Content was good and Chris very knowledgable.
The course was indepth and full of useful knowledge, it has given me the confidence to carry out switching and a full understanding on how hv switchgear works and the steps to carry out the work safely.
Enjoyed the course and found it very informative
Overall, this course was very helpful.
Feel much more confident about switching after this course, well directed and good venue with a variety of kit.
