They value knowledgeable, experienced trainers who explain complex content accessibly, adapt it to different roles and draw on real-life examples. Very well delivered in an engaging format by an obviously experienced trainer in her field. The importance of the content was not lost on the group and the the ability to switch to full barrister to experience the questioning style we could face gave a real insight into taking the stand at enquiry’s.

Overall a good course to offer some degree of preparation. It felt rushed at times and I think more support to create a claim of competency

Geraint Jones was AMAZING. His ability to focus the session to his audience was the best I’ve ever seen. He was confident, highly knowledgeable, personable and engaging. He fostered interest and confidence from the participants in a way I’ve never seen in a formal training session. He was able to adapt the session in a way I’ve never seen a trainer do. He was hands down the best trainer I’ve ever had. The course content was relevant, useful and practical and drew thoughtful experience from the participants.

Liked that it was multiagency. A few slides wouldnt go amiss but I understand why he wouldn’t want to do that!

Really good informative session Course leader was very approachable and experienced Helpful to reflect on real life experiences Could we potentially see some written up scenario examples provided for individuals to revise before presenting evidence for those that are unable to think of a scenario (role play scenarios )

Good refresher course that was useful in terms of outlining what to expect in different legal settings. This would be useful for staff at different levels with input tailored to specific roles such as Fire Investigation, operational response and regulatory enforcement.

I was expecting a course aimed at strategic or tactical leaders being at enquiries and under examination. The course was more focused on introductory level training for those with limited experience. Good content for those with limited experience but not what I was expecting for more expected personnel.
