Attendees particularly value tutors who listen, explain complex maths and English clearly, and adapt sessions patiently to different learning needs. They describe friendly, encouraging teaching that builds confidence, uses helpful slides and resources, and includes revision, mock exams and practice papers. Learners find the course engaging and useful for improving skills, preparing for exams and progressing towards work. A few find Skills Builder confusing when marking answers.
