Really interesting course. Enjoyed learning more about MH conditions and how to support. The group discussion was interesting This course would be even better if there were less slides allowing more time for interaction and in particular practice CASE

Trainer brought lightness to a heavy topic, perhaps a little too much story telling towards the end. Would prefer more practise having mock conversations if possible in future

Course was very informative and will prove useful to help me recognise the signs if someone may have mental health issues . It will also help me to hopefully understand mental health more and if i can help signpost someone to get the help they need then great.

Enjoyed the course and the trainers manner and interaction. One small point it would be good practice to let people know that anything spoken about on the course from a personal experience for example from a Mental Health etc perspective should remain confidential and not shared. Also it would be important to ask if delegates attending are ok with the content of the course as there is a possibility it could be stressful for someone who has experienced any of the course content to be discussed on the course.

I really enjoyed the course and the content which Marc covered. I felt the book wasn't the best at explaining certain issues such as "Anxiety is a normal body response we all experience feelings of anxiety. I felt the book didn't quite mirror the training course itself. I think covering the course over two days is an appropriate time. I did like the way Marc conducted the course and gave us an insight and examples of real life situations he has encountered. Marc was very mindful that some people in the group were obviously going through personal issues themselves, he asked the group as a whole if anyone would like to share experiences which was lovely as he didn't target one person which i have seen with previous instructors. Marc thanked anyone who did want to share their own stories. Overall, he really made this course as it is very sensitive and can stir a lot of emotions and you have to have "the right person" to do this.

Marc created an environment that enabled to group to contribute freely, which added to the richness of learning.
