Mikel was an amazing tutor. He was very engaging and informative. It can be difficult talking about mental health and he made it very ‘normal’ and comfortable to talk about. I am in a leadership position within my tennis club and this has given the confidence to recognise and help those who are struggling with their mental health. I would highly recommend this course to others.

Very informative course. My perception and knowledge of Mental Health and Mental Illness has massively improved. Jackie the instructor was very knowledgeable and helped with any aspect of uncertainty within the group.

I have throughly enjoyed the course and personally can relate to a lot of the content. I feel far more equipped to deal with people struggling with issues and that’s totally down to the course. Also being the building manager for the finance department has given me lots of ideas to approve the facilities within the building for example a private room becoming available and what sessions can potentially be delivered for the staff. Thank you Jackie 💕 xx

Really good course& doesn't tgo into o much into the detail of each illness. Provides very good mechanisms to be able to deal with mental health issues

It’s a personal experience for me and it showed me how I approached and asked questions were wrong. Listen

Donna and Pamela were both great! They were positive, upbeat, informative and very encouraging. They were really knowledgeable and made the learning easy. The venue was lovely but the small tables were quite difficult to work on.

Was clear and concise. Real life example and first hand experience used that was very helpful. The group was able to discus many topics and help eachother with ideas through discussions. The topic is heavy and there's only so much that can be covered in 2 days however as a first aid the aim is to be the person to spot issues or the person people will come up to and have the guidance and info rather than an expert. In that case I believe the course is affective and provides a good base line to learn from and then go and learn more at a further time.
