Feel that it was difficult to run the course via computer screen and that Helen and Emma ran it well under the circumstances. I would have preferred to be discussing topics in person, however the content was covered.
A very well delivered training; with a good mix of practical activities, videos & teaching Thank you :)
really good workshops and e-learning - I felt I wasn't just attending a course but I was learning skills that can be used in real situations
The online content is poorly designed, laborious and often repetitive. In contrast, the videos contained in some of the modules were informative and highly illustrative. The webinars were interesting, well-paced and very useful as they brought in multiple perspectives.
Found the course useful and interesting, feel much more comfortable talking to someone about mental health issues. Found some of the PowerPoints less engaging but the lectures on zooms were very good. Feel comfortable working as part of a team in the organisation to deliver support, I would feel more confident recognising issues that would require referring an individual to seek a GP or other professional support.
Very informative course, thanks
I felt like I had a good knowledge about depression in particular before the course however what I found most useful was more advice on how to help people and what to say - to some degree I felt that what I had said was the right thing but there's always room for improvement. I like how each scenario was broken down into ALGEE and that we had time to discuss our ideas. Thank you.
Great course- really enjoyed it. Would have liked to have seen more on gender and sexual identity, as I feel this is an area of increasing anxiety and health concerns, amongst students.
good course that everyone should be made aware of Mental Health first aid, so we can help and prevent or bring the numbers down in relation to suicide being carried out.
Very good course, definitelty earnt a lot especially on the best ways to approach someone in a sensitive but direct manner, diolch yn fawr!
