AI summary of reviews

Attendees particularly value the practical use of the ALGEE framework, scenarios and discussions, which make difficult mental-health topics approachable and give them confidence to recognise distress and start sensitive conversations with young people. They describe knowledgeable, empathetic trainers who create a relaxed, non-judgemental space, alongside a well-structured blend of self-study, webinars and breakout activities. The handbook and resources support application at work, though some prefer face-to-face delivery.

I felt that the course was very informative and provided loads of information that will help me in my professional career. I felt that Hannah the trainer was very knowledgeable and went in depth in sensitive topics and was very engaging which i notice can be difficult through training online.

This is course fitted what I had been looking for for a long time. the instructors are always available and approachable when needed. I think the subject areas and depth that it went into was appropriate - It was very informative and met my needs for my role.

I thought that Helen and Emma delivered a tough course in a sensitive way. Apart from technical issues out of their control they ran to time without feeling rushed. I would welcome attending another course delivered by them and would recommend this to others who wanted a deeper understanding into mental health issues and how to help. Thank you ladies.

Generally very good, but there were some parts where we were taught that situations were complex, or "on a spectrum", and then we were expected to give answers that fitted into neat categories.

A really useful course, I feel far better prepared to assess if a young person is experiencing a mental health crisis and confident to support them effectively based on my assessment.
