Very helpful course. Practical exam didn't feel as searching ads it might have been.
I did this same course 2 years ago and failed. The tutor this time was much better and presented the course very well. Andy was far better, he was supportive and very knowledgeable, there is a lot of content to take in and I found the exam difficult. (I have little experience working with electricity and very rarely have the opportunity to work around electrics). The new facility at Clay Cross is great But would have been so much better if sound proofing the class room environments had been done better. noise from other courses was distracting. likewise with the exam room. the noise from the office was distracting making it hard to concentrate on the exam questions. over all a great experience and I would definitely use technique for future training courses. I would be happy to recommend technique to other people.
The practice paper was only 15 questions long the actual test is 50 questions long. Obviously I'd have picked up on potential questions I'd have gotten wrong on my practice paper and not in the main exam.
The course was good but quite intense in terms of information to take in, a pre course introduction/mini assessment may be beneficial e.g. some maths refresher & Ohms law questions. The fact that lunch & refreshments were included & all documentation was supplied puts Technique Training Solutions ahead of other providers who offer similar training, the little things make a difference & the tutors personal touch made the course more enjoyable.
